NS-381 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICI~PAL CODE T0~0PT SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 2-5-10~~ 3-5-10, 9-5-10;_12-5-10; 1~-5-10~, 15-5-10, AND 16-5-10, Ai~D TO AMEND 10 5-10~ AND 16-5 1~ TO SHOW THE ESTABLISHMENT A~D AME~NDMENT OF DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS IN THE SECTIONS AFFECTED THEREBY WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held public hearings in connection with the adoption and amendment of those certain Sectional District Maps hereinbelow set out, for the purpose of showing the district classification heretofore or now estab- lished, and for the purpose of showing certain amendments or changes of district classification, and has recommended to the City Council said adoptions and amendments; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held public hearings on the questions of the adoption and/or amendment of said Sectional District Maps, and of said change of district classi- fication, and does now find that public necessity, convenience mad general welfare require the following adoptions and amendments, md that the uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Sectional District Maps 2-5-10, Exhibit A, 12-5-10, Exhibit A, and 13-5-10, Exhibit A, are hereby adopted; that said ado~ion does not effect any change of zone but does precise certain zone boundaries by realigning the same along property lines where said boundaries have heretofore approximately followed such property lines in accord~ce with the rule of construction set forth in Section 9203.(a) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code for the purpose of better showing the district regulations in the area affected thereby. SECTION 2. That Districting Maps 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 29, · 30, 34 and 35, ~nd portions of 24 and 33, are hereby repealed and super- seded by the Sectional District Maps next hereinabove adopted. SECTION 3. That Sectional District Map 9-5-10, Exhibit A, is hereby adopted to reclassify from R-1 District to the C-2-PK District property fronting on Harbor Boulevard on the West side and at the Southwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and Westminster Avenue along both sides of Century Boulevard between Bolsa Avenue and Westminster Avenue, in accordance with Amendment Application No. 2?0 initiated by the Planning Commission. SECTION 4. That Sectional District Nap lO-5-10, Exhibit A, is hereby amended to reclassify from the R-1 District to the C-1-PK, C-2-PK, and M-1 Districts property on the South side of Westminster Avenue between Harbor Boulevard and Clinton Street, and between Berry- dale Street and a point 1305 feet West of the center line of Berrydale on the East side of Harbor Boulevard between Westminster Avenue aud Bolsa Avenue along both sides of Fifth Street between Harbor Boulevard and the Sa~ ta Aha River, and along the North side of Bolsa Avenue be- tween Harbor Boulevard and the S~ta Ana River, in accordance with Amendment Application No. 271 initiated by the Planning Commission. SECTION 5. That Sectional District Map 15-5-10, Exhibit A, is hereby adopted to reclassify from R-1 District to the C-2-PK District, property along the East side of Harbor Boulevard between Sugar Avenue and Bolsa Avenue, and along the South side of Bolsa Avenue between Harbor Boulevard and the S~uta Ana River, in accordance with Amendment Application No. 2?2 initiated by the Planning Commission. SECTION 6. That Sectional District Map 16-5-10, Exhibits A and B, is hereby adopted and amended to reclassify from the R-1 District to the C-2-PK District, property on the West side of Harbor Boulevard between Sugar Avenue ~nd Bolsa Avenue, in accord~ce with Amendment Application No. 273 initiated by the Planning Commission, and to re- classify from the R-1 District to the C-l-?K District, property on the East side of Verano Street between the North line of Smeltzer Avenue and a point approximately 623 feet North of the center line of Smeltzer Avenue to a depth of approximately 520 feet East of the center line of Verano Avenue, in accordance with Amended Application No. 275, filed by the Lehnhardt Corporation. SECTION 7. That Sectional District Map 3-5-10, Exhibit A, is hereby adopted to reclassify from the R-1 District to the C-1-PK District, property along the North side of Westminster Avenue between BerFydale Street and a point approximately 1080 feet West of the West boundary of Berrydale Street, in accordance with Amendment Applica- tion No. 2?4 initiated by the Planning Commission. SECTION 8. That reference is hereby made to said Sectional District Maps, on file in the office of the Planning Depart~nent of the City of Santa Aha, for the exact dimensions and extent of the territory affected by the zone changes herein adopted. SECTION 9. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
