IX OF THE SANTA ANA
MUNICIPAL CODE--~ANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMEND-
MENT APPLICATION NO. 276 AND TO A~END SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 22-5-10, EXHIBIT C
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing in connection with a change of district classi-
fication herein set out as initiated by the Planning Commission, and
the amendment of Sectional District Map 22-5-10, Exhibit C, to re-
classify property generally fronting on the north side of Edinger
Street, between Clinton Street and Sullivan Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has regularly held a public hearing
on notice on the question of said change in district classification
and amendment of said Sectional District Nap, and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the follow-
ing amendments and that the uses under the new classifications will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County Of Orange, State of California, bounded by the easterly ex-
tension of Smeltzer Avenue, Harbor Boulevard, Delhi Road, and a line
extended generally in a southerly direction from Sullivan Street to
Greenville Street is hereby reclassified from R-1 District to ~e
R-2 and C-1-PK Districts, and that Sectional District Map 22-5-10,
Exhibit C, is hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Sa~ ta
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of August __, 1959.
