MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMEND-
NENT APPLICATION NO. 279 AND TO AMEND SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAPS I5-5-10, F~Z~IBIT B, ~D 16-5-10, EXHIBIT C
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing in connection with a change of District classi-
fications and has recommended to the City Council the changes herein-
below set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
the question of said change on August 17, 195~, and does now find
that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the
following amendments, and that the uses under the new classifications
will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
CQUNCIL
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY/OF THE ~ITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property fronting on Harbor Boule-
vard to a depth of 330 feet measured East and West of and at right
angles to the surveyed center line of Harbor Boulevard between Sugar
Avenue and the South City Ltmit~ is hereby reclassified from the
R-1 District to the C-2-PK District; that property bounded on the
South by the South City Limits, on the West by a line 1320 feet
West of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, on t he North by a line
1,000 feet North of the South City Limits; and a parcel bounded on
the South by a line 1, O00 feet North of the South City Limits, on
the West by a line 660 feet West of the center line of Harbor Boule-
vard, on the North by Sugar Avenue, and on the East by a line 330
feet West of the center line of Harbor Boulevard; and a parcel
bounded on the South by the South City Limits, on the West by a line
330 feet West of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, on the North
by Sugar Avenue, on the East by a line 1650 feet East of the center
line of Harbor Boulevard to a line 660 feet North of the South City
Limits, at which point said parcel is bounded on the South by said
line 660 feet North of the South City Limits to a point 1350 feet
East of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, and it is further
bounded on the East by a line at right angles to the last mentioned
line which is 1315 feet East of the center line of Harbor Boulevard,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the A-1 District;
and Sectional District Maps 15-5-10, Exhibit B, and 16-5-10, Exhibit
C, are hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
