MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON A~END-
~NT APPLICATION NO. 296 AND TO A~fEND SECTIONAL DISTRICT

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a i~oublic hearing on Amendment Application No. 296, filed by
J. H. Thayer, aud has recom~ended the change hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has regularly held a public hearing
on said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1~. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, California, bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of Berrydale Street,
which is 1320 feet North of the center line of Seventeenth
Street; thence Eas~ 600 feet; thence South 660 feet; thence
West 660 feet to the Easterly right of way line ~' Berry-
dale Street; thence North along the Easterly line of Berry-
dale Street to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified fro~:~ the R-1 District to the C-1-PK District
m~d S'ectional District Map 2-~-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the
