N~JMICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON A~NO-
~{ENT APPLICATION NO. 297 AhrD TO ~END SECTIONAL OISTRIGT
~S t7-5-9 and 20-5-9
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 297, initiated
by said Commission, and recommended the changes in district classif-
ication hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, ti~e City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendments, and that the
uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE.CITYOF S~TA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION t. That the parcels of real property in the City of
S~u~a Aha, County of Orange, State of California, bounded as follows:
Parcel 1. A triangular parcel of property bounded South-
westerly by the Northeasterly right of way line of the
Atchison and Santa Fe Railway; bounded on the North by the
South line of ~cFadden Avenue, and bounded on the East by
the West line of Ritchey Street; and
Parcel 2. Bounded Southwesterly by the Northeasterly right
of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway;
bounded Westerly by a line parallel to and 1161.37 feet,
measured at right angles, f~om the center line of Tustin
Avenue; bounded Northerly by the South line of NcFadden
Avenue, and bounded Easterly by the West line of Tustin
Avenue,
are hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the ~-l District;
and
Parcel 3- Bounded Southwesterly by the Northeasterly right
of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway;
bounded Westerly by the East line of Ritchey Street; bounded
Northerly by the South line of NcFadden Avenue, and bounded
Easterly by a line parallel to and distant ~?esterly 1161.37
feet, measured at right angles, from the center line of
Tustin Avenue,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the Aol District,
and Sectional District i.{aps 17-5-9 snd 20-5-9 are hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
