LINES ALONG PORTIONS OF BROADWAY
WHEREAS, heretofore, the City Council adopted Resolution No.
59-300, declaring its intention to establish future right of way
lines herein set out, giving notice of public hearing to be held
January~th, 1960, regularly held said hearing and determined that
said future right of way lines should be established as recommended
by the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby finds, determines
and declares that the public safety, health and general welfare re-
quire the establishment of building setback lines hereinbelow set
out and, therefore, that Section 9250.1 of the Ssnta Ana Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subparagraph to be
designated (t), in words and figures as follows:
(t) BROADWAY
On the West side between First and Walnut Streets, 38
feet, measured from and at right angles to the survey
centerline.
On the East side, between First and Walnut Streets, 42
feet, measured from and at right angles to the sur~ey
centerline.
On both sides, between Walnut and Main Streets, 40 feet,
measured from and at right angles to the survey centerline.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council at its regular meeting
held on the 1st day of Febrl]~ry_ , 1960.
