ANA M~qICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
ON ~ENDi4ENT APPLICATION NO. 321 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT £'~P 12-5-10 (~[HIBIT 321-A)
~EREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held
a public hearing on Amendment Aoplication No. 321, i~ni~t~a~ed by said
Commission, and reco~ended the changes in District classifications
hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surround-
lng property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ~fhat the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Durant Street
located approximately 160 feet South of the centerline of
Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the centerline of Seventeenth Street for a distance
of approximately 216 feet; thence Southerly along a line
approximately parallel to~e centerline of Broadway for a
distance of approximately 14 feet; thence Easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the centerline of Seventeenth Street
to a point located approximately 134 feet Easterly from the
centerline of Sycamore Street; thence Southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the centerline of Sycamore Street to
the centerline of Fifteenth Street; thence Easterly along the
centerline of Fifteenth Street for a distance of approximately
12 feet; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the centerline of Sycamore Street to the centerline of
Washington Avenue; thence Westerly along the centerline of
Washington Avenue ho a point where the centerline of Washington
Avenue intersects the centerline of Sycamore Street; thence
Southerly along the centerline of Sycamore Street to a point
where the centerline of Sycamore Street intersects the center-
line of Tenth Street; thence Westerly along the centerline of
Tenth Street to a point located approximately 120 feet Easterly
from the point where the centerline of Riverine Avenue inter-
sects the centerline of Tenth Street; thence Northerly along a
line approximately parallel to the centerline of Riverine Avenue
for a distance of approximately 75 feet; thence Easterly along a
line approximately parallel to the centerline of Tenth Street
for a distance of approximately 60 feet; thence Northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the centerline of Broadway to the
centerline of Halesworth Street; thence Westerly along the center-
line of Halesworth Street for a distance of approximately 76
feet; thence Northerly along a line parallel to the centerline
of Broadway to a point where said line intersects the centerline
of Washington Avenue; thence Westerly along the centerline of
Washington Avenue to a point where the centerline of Washington

Avenue intersects the centeiine of Durant Street; thence
Northerly along the centerline of Durant Street to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 and R-3 Districts to the P and
R 3 H B Districts as shown on Sectional District Map 12-5-10
(Exhibit 321-A), and said Sectional District Blap is hereby amended
to show said reclassifications.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days fr~
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of
