~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on
September 6, 1960, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 60-166, which said Resolution was regu-
larly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public
hearing to be held October 17, 1960, which said hearing was regu-
larly held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law.
NO~, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI~l~/ OF SA~¥£A ANA
DOES OP~DAI~ AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ~hat after due hearing it finds there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that
due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said
territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 60-1~6
was adopted initiating this procedure; that said territory is con-
tiguous to the city of Santa Ana and that said territory shall not
be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time
of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the city boundary of the City
of Santa Ana, California, said point being on the Southeast
corner of Lot 25 of the Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract as
shown on a map thereof recorded in ~iscellaneous ~ecord
Book 4, Page 624, records of Los Angeles County, california,
said point being at the intersection of the center lines of
Memory Lane and Bristol Street; and running thence Easterly
along said city boundary and along said center line of
Dlemory Lane, 587 feet more or less to an angle point in said
city boundary; thence Northerly along a line parallel to the
East line of Lot 14, of said Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract,
and along said city boundary 535.92 feet; thence departing
from said city boundary Westerly along a straight line which
is parallel with the South line of said Lots 25 and 14 and
its extension 1,4~7 feet more or less to the East line of
that certain 630 feet strip of land described in Parcel 2,
in the deed to the County of Orange recorded ~4ay 25, 1932,
in Book 557, Page 264, Official ~ecords of Orange County,
California; thence in a Southwesterly direction along said
East line 570 feet more Or less to its intersection with said
city boundary; thence Easterly along said city boundary 1,090
feet more or less to the point of beginningf

be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Aha, and
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTIO~ 3. ~his Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
