Wi{EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on ~nendment Application No. 325,
initiated by John B. Kilroy, and recommended the changes in District
classification hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare requires the following amen~nent, and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.

DOES ORDAIN AS £OLLO?~S:
SEC'~ION 1. '£q~at the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point Where the Easterly boundary of the
Santa Ana River intersects the Northerly boundary of a
Westerly prolongation of the Westerly extension of Harvard
Street, per tentative Tract ~,iap No. 3561; thence Easterly
along the Northerly boundary of a Westerly prolongation of
the Westerly extension of said Harvard Street for a distance
of approximately 2000 feet more or less; thence Northerly
along a line located approximately at a 90° angle to the
Westerly extension of said Harvard Street, per tentative
Tract ~4ap No. 35~1, for a distance of 962.3 feet more or
less; thence ~[esterly along a line approxJnnately parallel
to the boundary of the ~esterly extension of Harvard Street
for a distance of 1~10.5 feet more or less to the Easterly
boundary of the Santa Ana River; thence Southwesterly and
continuing along said Easterly boundary of the Santa Aha
River to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the ~1 District to the M1 District as
shown on Sectional District _dap 22-~-10 (Exhibit 325 A), and said
Sectional District ~4ap is hereby sm~ended to show said reclassifi-
cation.
SECTION 2. ~his Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
