THE PRIMA FACIE SPEE~ LIMIT ON
PORTIONS OF DELHI ROAD
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION le That after an engineering and traffic survey
and Council determination, and under authority contained in Sections
22357 and 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California,
Subsection "(A)" of Section 3280 of the Santa AnaMunicipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater
than35 miles per hour on Delhi Road from the East
City Limits to the City Limit line 1,600 feet West
of the center line of Bristol Street; and no person
shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35 miles
per hour on Delhi Road from the Westerly property
lin~ of Fairview Street to the City Limit line
700~ feet Easterly of Raitt Street; and no person
shall drive a vehicle at a speed great~%han 45 miles
per hour on Delhi Road from the Westerly property
line of Fairview Street to Harbor Boulevard,
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of Januar~ 1961
