THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON ~4ENDMENT APPLICATION NO2 337
AND ~.~NDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~PS 17-5-9,.
1~-5-9 AND 20-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 337 A)
~HEREAS, the Planning Co~aission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 337, i~d by
said ~, for change of District classification from the R,1
District to the 14-1 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said Amendment Application; and
~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
Now, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI%5{ OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
Counts~
of Orange, State of California, described as:
'That area bounded by ~4cFadden Avenue on the North, the
Southern Pacific Railroad tracks on the West, a line
approximately 996.7~ feet South of the center line of
McFadden Avenue between the Southern Pacific ~ailroad and
Grand Avenue and a line approximately 132~.7~ feet South
of the center line of McFadden Avenue between McClay
Street and the East City Limit East of the center line of
McClay Street, excepting therefrom a parcel of land
approximately 423.50 feet by 990 feet, located at the
Southeast corner of ~icClay Street and McFadden Avenue,
is hereby reclassified from the ~-1 District to the i4-1 District, and
Sectional District ~iaps 17-~-9 lo-~-~ and 20-5-9 (Exhibit AA 337 A)
are hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTIOi~ 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
