SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 342
AND AMENDING S~CTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 342 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~mission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 342, initiated by
LAWRENCE KOKX for a change of District classification from the R-1
District to the M-1 District, and said Ccm%mission has recommended
approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of McFadden
Avenue intersects the center line of Lyon Street, thence
Westerly along the centerline of McFadden Avenue for a
distance of 75 feet more or less; thence Northerly along
a line parallel to the center line of Lyon Street to the
Southerly boundary of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railroad right of way; thence Southeasterly along the
boundary line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Rail-
road right of way to the center line of Lyon Street;
thence Southerly along the center line of Lyon Street to
the point of beginning,
ks hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District, and
Sectional District Map 17-5-9 (Exhibit AA 342 A) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6%h day of March , 1961.

Ordinance was regularly introduced at its regular meeting held on
the 20%h day of FebruarF , 1961, and was again considered by
said Council at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March
1961, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to-wit:
