NS-515 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON ~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 348 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 13-5-10, 14-5-10, 23-5-10 and 24-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 348 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mmission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 348, initiated by said Commission for a change of District classification from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. ORDAIN County NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. ~i~nat the real property in the City of Santa Aha, of Orange, State of California, described as: Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of Bristol Street located approximately 165 feet Northerly of the point where the center line of Bristol Street intersects the center line of Pine Street; thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Pine Street for a distance of 148 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line approxi- mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 828 feet, more or less, to the center line of Myrtle Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Myrtle Street for a distance of 45.4 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 165 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Myrtle Street for a distance of 193 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of approximately 993 feet to the point of beginning. Parcel 7: Beginning at a point where the center line of Bristol Street intersects the center line of Wilshire Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line of Wilshire Avenue for a distance of 152 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 998 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 152 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 998 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Parcel 8: Beginning at a point where the center line of Bristol Street intersects the center line of Baker Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 145 feet, more or less; thence Southerly and along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 1,020 feet, more or less, to the center line of Warner Avenue; thence Westerly along the center line of Warner Avenue for a distance of 145 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 1,020 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and Sectional District Maps 13-5-10, 14-5-10, 23-5-10 and 24-5-10 (E~hibit AA 348 A) are hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
