SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 353 AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 11-5-10 AND 12-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 353 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 353, initiated by
said Commission, for a change of District classification from the
R-2 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and th~tthe use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOW:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of
Bristol Street located 188 feet, more or less, Southerly
from the point where the center line of Bristol Street inter-
sects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 174.6 feet, more or
less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
2895 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eighth
Street; thence Westerly along the center line of Eighth
Street for a distance of 174.5 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 2895 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: Beginning at a point where the center line of
Bristol Street intersects the center line of Sixth Street;
thence Easterly along the center line of Sixth Street for a
distance of 175 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along
a li~ approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol
street for a distance of 125 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Sixth Street for a distance of 175 feet, more or less;
thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for
a distance of 125 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.

PARCEL 3: Beginning at a point on the center line of
Bristol Street located 123 feet, more or less, Northerly
from the point where the center line of Bristol Street
intersects the center line of Twelfth Street; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 206.7 feet, more
or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a dis-
tance of 160 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Washington Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line
of Washington Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street to a point located
1S2 feet, more or less, Northerly from the center line of
Martha Lane; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Martha Lane for a distance
of 14~ feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol
Street; thence Southerly along the center line of Bristol
Street to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 4: Beginning at a point on the center line of Ninth Street

the center line of Ninth Street intersects the center line
of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a
distance of 139.5 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Ninth
Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Bristol Street; thence Southerly along the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 1366.5 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Sixth Street for a distance
of 150.7 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
to the center line of Sixth Street; thence Westerly along the
center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 10 feet, more
or less; thence North along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street to the center line of
Seventh Street; thence Westerly along the center line of
Seventh Street for a distance of 3.5 feet, more or less;
thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Bristol Street to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Maps 11-5-10 and 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 353 A) are
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the ?th day of August , 1961.
