OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "TWeNTY-FIRST
AND LYON N.W. ANNEX"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, on
June 19, 1961, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 61-149, which said Resolution was regu-
larly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public
bearing to be held August 7, 1961, which said bearing was regularly
held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described; that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri-
tory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 61-149 was
adopted initiating this proceeding; that said territory is contiguous
to the City of Santa Ana and that said territory shall not be taxed
to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this
annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Tract Number 3741,
as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 136, Pages 43
and 44, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, said point being North 00° 02' 00" East 1055.73
feet from the intersection of the center lines of Wright
Street and Sevgnteenth Street, as shown on said map of
Tract Number 3741, said point also being an angle point in
the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, california~ as
described in Ordinance NS-490; running thence North 00v 02'
00" East along said City boundary as described in Ordinance
NS-73 a distance of 528.00 feet; thence departing from said
City boundary North 89° 55' 21" East 829.46 feet; thence
South 00° 01' 55" East 528.00 feet to the Northeast corner
of said Tract Number 3741 and to an angle point in said
city boundary as described in said ordinance NS-490; thence
South 89° 57' 21" West 830.06 feet along the North line of
said Tract 3741 and along said City boundary to the point

1 in said City, and said annexation is by this Ordinance
approved and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation
ofthis territory, the designation that applies is "Santa Aha City -
1957 & 1958 Annexes".
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSF~ AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of August , 1961.
