THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING UNITED
STATES GOVERNMENT RECRUITER PARKING METER HOODS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Santa Aha Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding thereto a new Section in words and figures as follows:
SECTION 3311.7. Special U.S. Recruiter Hood Issuance
United States Government Recruiting Officer in charge of any
Recruiting Office located in a building in front of which
parking is regulated by meters may apply to the Chief of Police
for a permit to use a parking meter hood or hoods in front of
or near said Recruiting Office, and shall furnish such
information on the application as said Chief may require. ~he
Chief of Police shall determine the number of hoods which shall
be issued and shall forward his approval to the Director of
Finance, who shall issue a numbered permit for each hood
approved without any charge or deposit for hoods to accompany
the permits.
Each permit shall be marked for use with United States
Government owned Armed Forces Recruiting Vehicle only, and said
hood shall not be valid and may be picked up and permit revoked
if used with any other vehicle and for the reasons specified in
Subsections (c), (e), (g), (h) or (i) of Section 3311.4.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
