SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 361
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 11-5-10 AND
12-5-10 (EXHIBITS AA 361 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 361, initiated by
said Commission for a change in District classification from the R-1
and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recom-
mended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 1. Beginning at a point where the center line of
Bristol Street intersects the center line of Eighth Street
thence Easterly along the center line of Eighth Street for
a distance of 120 feet, more or less; thence Southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bristol Street for a distance of 145 feet, more or less;
thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 50 feet,
more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance
of 196 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street
for a distance of 20 feet, more or less; thence Southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bris~l Street for a distance of 200 feet, more or less;
thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 20 feet, more
or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 139
feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixth Street; thence
Westerly along the center line of Sixth Street for a distance
of 130 feet, more or less, to that point where the center line
of Sixth Street intersects the center line of Bristol Street;'
thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for
a distance of 685 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning;

Parcel 2. Beginning at a point on the center line of
Bristol Street located Northerly 123.6 feet, more or
less, from the point where the center line of Bristol
Street intersects the center line of Twelfth Street;
thence Southerly along the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 825.5 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Tenth Street for a distance of 159.4 feet,
more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a
distance of 134 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Tenth Street; thence Westerly along the center line of
Tenth Street for a distance of 25.6 feet, more or less;
thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 122.2
feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Eleventh Street for
a distance of 39 feet, more or less; thence Northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bristol Street for a distance of 161.7 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Eleventh Street; thence Westerly
along the center line of Eleventh Street for a distance of
11 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 284 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along the center line of Twelfth Street for a distance of
14.7 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 123.6 feet, more or less; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Twelfth Street for a distance of 171.7 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning;
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5
District, and Sectional District Maps 11-5-10 and 12-5-10 (Exhibits
AA 361 A) are hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of ~, 1961.
