SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 369
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA-369 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 369, initiated by
HENRY C. COX for a change in District classification from the A-1
and M-1 Districts to the R-1 District, and said C~,u.ission has
recommended the change in District classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel l. Beginning at a point on the centerline of Glenwood Place
located 130 feet, more or less, Easterly from the point where
the centerline of Center Street intersects the centerline of
Glenwood Place; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the centerline of Edinger Street for a distance
of 2156.9 feet, more or less, to the Westerly boundary of the
Orance County Flood Control District F-2 Channel; thence
Southerly, continuing along the Westerly boundary ~ the
Orange County Flood Control District F-2 Channel for a
distance of 1930 feet, more or less, to the Northerly boundary
of Warner Avenue; thence Southwesterly, continuing along the
Northerly boundary of Warner Avenue for a distance of 470 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly, continuing along the Northerly
boundary of Warner Avenue for a distance of 1250 feet, more
or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the centerline of Center Street for a distance of 1066 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the centerline of Warner Avenue for a distance of
502 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the centerline of Rene Drive for a distance
of 1200 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning;
~rcel2. Beginning at a point on the Westerly boundary of the Orange
County Flood Control District F-2 Channel located 110 feet,
more or less, Southerly from the Southerly boundary of Warner
Avenue; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel

to the centerline of Glenwood Place for a distance of 140
feet, more or less; thence Northeasterly, continuing along
the Southerly boundary of Warner Avenue to the Westerly
boundary of the Orange County Flood Control District F-2
Channel; thence Southerly along the Westerly boundary of
the Orange County Flood Control District F-2 Channel to the
point of beginning;
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 and M-1 Districts to the R-1
District, and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA-369 A) is
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of Januax7 , 1962.

the Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 18th day of December, 1961, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day
of January , 1962, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
