THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ~A DO~S ORDAIN AS FOLLOW, S:
SECTION 1. That after an e~gineering and traffic survey and Council
determination, and under authority contained in Sections 22357 and 22358 of the
Vehicle Code of the State of California, Subsection (k) of Section 3280 of the
Santa ~na Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed
greater than 35 miles per hour on West First
Street between Townsend Street and Harbor
Bgulevard; nor at a speed greater than 45
miles per hour on Bolsa Avenue between Harbor
Boulevard and a point 130' west of the center
line of Cooper Street."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after
the date of its adoption.
