SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGEr~STRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 372 AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5~10 (EXHIBIT
AA 372 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 372, initiated by
said Commission, for a change in District classification from the
R3 District to the C5 District, and said Commission has recommended
the change in District Classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of St. Gertrude
Place intersects the center line of Bristol Street; thence
Westerly along the center line of St. Gertrude Place for a
distance of 180 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol
Street for a distance of 135 feet, more or less; thence
Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of St. Gertrude Place for a distance of 180 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence
Southerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a
distance of 135 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R3 District to the C5 District, and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 372 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February. , 1962.
