SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 373
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 373 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 373, initiated by
JEROME G. GOCH for a change in District classification from the R1
District to the R2 and C5 Districts, and said Commission has recom-
mended the change in District classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classificatio~will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That real property in the City of Santa Ana County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Edinger Avenue
located 818.14 feet, more or less, Westerly from the point
where the center line of Edinger Avenue intersects the
center line of Bristol Street; thence Southerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol
Street for a distance of 252 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 149.2 feet,
more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance
of 40 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue
for a distance of 353.9 feet, more or less; thence Northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bristol Street for a distance of 212 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Edinger Avenue; thence Easterly along
the center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 502.9
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the Ri District to the C5 District, and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (E~hibit AA 373 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.

SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Be~inning at a point located approximately 252 feet Southerly
from the center line of Edinger Avenue and approximately
818.14 feet Westerly from the center line of Bristol Street;
thence Southerly along a line approximat~ y parallel to the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 332.8 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to~ the center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance
of 162 feet, more or less; thence Southwesterly 4.6 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance
of 152 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 100 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Edinger Avenue for a distance of 178 feet, more or less;
thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 288 feet,
more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue for a
distance of 353.9 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol
Street for a distance of 40 feet, more or less; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Edinger Avenue for a distance of 149.2 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the Ri District to the R2 District and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 373 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February , 1962.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 15th day of January, 1962, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 5%h
day of February , 1962, and at said meeting was regularly
passed and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit;
