SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 385
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 385 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 385, initiated by
ADELAIDE D. DANIELL for a change in District classifications from the
R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 and R-lB Districts, and said
Commission has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendments and that the uses
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Seventeenth
Street located 565.2 feet, more or less, W~sterly frO~the point
where the center line of Seventeenth Street intersects
the center line of Grand Avenue; thence Southerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand
Avenue for a distance of 437.1 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 165.2 feet,
more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance
of 427.1 feet, more or less, to the center line of Seventeenth
Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Seventeenth
Street for a distance of 165.2 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 to the C-5 District and Sectional
District Map 7-5-9 (Exhibit AA 385 A) is hereby amended to show said
reclassification.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the city of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:

Beginning at the Southwest corner of that parcel of real
property hereinabove described, the same being 427.1 feet,
more or less, Southerly from the center line of Seventeenth
Street; thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of
165.2 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue
for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 165.2 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 50 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 (Exhibit AA 385 A) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
