SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO PREZONE AND ESTABLISH
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 386 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 386 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 386, initiated by
LaVERNE VAN WYK JACOBS to prezone certain land not as yet annexed to
the City of Santa Aha and presently situated in the County of Orange,
and said Commission has recommended approval of said Amendment
Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general
welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOEs
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That real property in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Lyon Street
intersects the center line of Main Street (Tustin); thence
Southerly along the center line of Lyon Street for a distance
of 902.5 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Main Street
(Tustin) for a distance of 431.4 feet, more or less; thence
Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Lyon Street for a distance of 902.5 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Main Street (Tustin); thence
Westerly along the center line of Main Street (Tustin) for
a distance of 431.4 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,
and presently classified as being in the Orange County A-1 District,
'is hereby prezoned as being of the City of Santa Ana's R-4 District,
and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 (E~hibit AA 386 A) is hereby amended
to show the establishment of this classification and prezoning. Said
prezoning and classification shall become effective whensoever in the
future any of the hereinabove described property is annexed to the
City of Santa Aha.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
fro~ and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
adjourned
