TERRITORY DESIGNATED
NORTHWEST ANNEX"
DECLARING THE ANNE]rATION OF
"SAi~TA CLARA AND WI{IGHT,
WHEREAS, on April 2, 1962, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by
Resolution No. 62-72, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law, and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held
May 21, 1962, which hearing was continued to June 4, 1962, and was
then regularly held on said notice and on mailed notices as required
by law; and after final adjournment of said hearing on protests, it
was found and declared by Resolution No. 62-100 that a majority
protest had not been made.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'I~ OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That it finds and declares that said territory,
hereinbelow described, was uninhabited at the time Resolution
No. 62-72 was adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to
the City of Santa Aha and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness
of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, and described as:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of the City
of Santa Aha, California, as established by Ordinance Number 73,
said point being South 89° 59' 13" West 143.39 feet from the
intersection of the center lines of Santa clara Avenue and
Wright Street, as shown on a map of survey recorded in Book 32,
Page 38, Record of Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, said point also being the South-
west corner of the A. GREEN lot, as shown on said record of
survey; thence departing from said City Boundary North 0° 03'
07" West along the West line of said A. GREEN Lot 185.00 feet;
thence North 89° 59' 13" East 105.00 feet; thence South 0° 03'
07" East 185.00 feet to a point on said boundary of the City
of Santa Aha, said point being South 89° 59' 13" West 38.39
feet from said intersection of the center lines of Santa Clara
Avenue and Wright Street; thence South 89° 59' 13" West along
said boundary 105.00 feet to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana and to
Ward No. 1 in said City, and said annexation is by, this Ordinance

effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this
territory, the designation that applies is "Santa Ana City - 1957
and 1958 Annexes".
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.

at its regular meeting held on the
