THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON A~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 381
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 381 C)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 3Sl, initiated by
L. L. and JUANITA C. CONKLE for a change in District classification
from the A-1 District to the R-3 ahd C~i Districts; and
WI{EREAS, at said public hearing of the Planning Con~ission,
the applicants requested that the District classification be changed
from the A-1 District to the R-4 and C-5 Districts (said R-4 District
and C-5 District being more restrictive District classifications than
the originally requested R-3 and C-1 Districts); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that the
change in District classification be from the A-1 District to the
R-4 District for the entire parcel of property; and
~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general
welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the
new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding propert5~.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE Citify COUA!CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real propertp in the City of Santa Ana,
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of McFadden
Avenue intersects the center line of Euclid Street;
thence ~ortherlp along the center line of Euclid Street
for a distance of 395 feet, more or less, to the Southern
boundar~ of the Orange Countl Flood Control District
channel; thence Easterly and Northeasterl~ along the
Southerly boundary of the Orange County Flood Control
District channel for a distance of 550 feet, more or less;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Euclid Street for a distance of
506.9 feet, more or less, to the center line of McFadden
Avenue; thence Westerl~ alon~ the center line of McFadden
Avenue for a distance of 537.6 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning,

is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-4 District,
and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 (Exhibit AA 381 C) is hereby
amended to show said reclassification.
SECTIO~ 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirt~ days fro~,
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
~ma at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of Jmne ~ 1962.
