SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 396
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 396 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 396, initiated by
said Co~mission for a change in District classification frcau the R-1
District to the C-5 and R-lB Districts, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
pARCEL 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of Bristol
Street located 650. feet, more or less, Southerly from that
point where the center line of Bristol Street intersects the
center line of Edinger Avenue; thence Southerly, continuing
along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
439.1 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of St. Andrew Place
for a distance of 530 feet, more or less; thence Northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bristol Street for a distance of 439.1 feet, more or less;
thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of St. Andrew Place for a distance of 530 feet,
more or less, to the pOint of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 396 A) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: That real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:

PARCEL 2: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Parcel 1 as
described hereinabove; thence Westerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of St. Andrew Place for
a distance of 75 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol
Street for a distance of 439.1 feet, more or less; thence
Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of St. Andrew Place for a distance of 75 feet, more or
less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street, the same being the
Westerly boundary of Parcel 1 as described hereinabove,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 396 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the __

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 18th day of June, 1962, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of
1962, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to-wit:
