SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 397
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No~ 397, initiatedby
NORMAN and BLANCHE E. HERZIG for a change in District classification
from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Co~mis-
sion has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the .public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Seventeenth
Street intersects the center line of Santiago Street; thence
Southerly along the center line of Santiago Street for a
distance of 197.3 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 191.9 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately para~l
to the center line of Santiago Street for a distance of
50 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for
a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santiago
Street for a distance of 147.3 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 141.9
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified fro~ the R~i and R-2 Districts to the C-5
District, and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 (Exhibit AA 397 A) is hereby
amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
