SAAT~A ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 403
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 10-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 403 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 403, initiated by
PABST BREWING COMPANY for a change in District classification from
the R-2 District to the CM District, and said Commission has recom-
mended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of old King
Street intersects the Northerly boundary line of the Pacific
Electric Railroad right of way; thence Northeasterly along
the center line of old King Street for a distance of 230
feet, more or less; thence Northwesterly along a line
approximately parallel to the Pacific Electric Railroad
right of way for a distance of 292 feet, more or less;
thence Southwesterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of old King Street for a distance of
190 feet, more or less, to the Northerly boundary line of
the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; thence South-
easterly along the Northerly boundary line of the Pacific
Electric Railroad right of way for a distance of 300 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING those portions dedicated for street purposes,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the CM District, and
Sectional District Map 10-5-10 (Exhibit AA 403 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of September, 1962.
