OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIRFiAVEN AND GRAND
S. E. ANNEX"
WHEREAS, on August 6, 19~2, the City Council of the City of
Santa kna declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by
Resolution No. J2-152, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held
September 17, 19~2, which hearing was regularly held; and after final
adjournment of said hearing on protests, it was found and declared by
Resolution No. 62-18~ that a majority protest had not been made.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory,
hereinbelow described, was uninhabited at the time Resolution
No. 62-152 was adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to
the City of Santa Ana and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness
of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2: %~at all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, and described as:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the North line
of Fairhaven Avenue, said North line being 30 feet North,
measured at right angles from the center line of said
Fairhaven Avenue with the existing boundary of the Fairhaven
and Cambridge N.W. Annex to the City of Santa Aha, California,
said point being 5.5 feet West, measured at right angles from
the East line of Lot 13, Block "D" of the A. B. Chapman
Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in December, 1870, and
shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 102, Page 15,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, california;
thence departing from said existing boundary West along said
North line of Fairhaven Avenue 320 feet, more or less, to
the Northerly prolongation of the West line of Grand Avenue,
said West line being parallel with and 40 feet West, measured
at right angles from the center line of Grand Avenue; thence
South along said West line of said Grand Avenue and its
Northerly extension 726.14 feet to the Westerly prolongation
of the South line of Tract No. 4424 as shown on a m~P thereof
recorded in Book 160, Pages 24 and 25, Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of said Orange County; thence North 89° 56' 55" East
40 feet to the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 4424;
thence North 89° 56' 55" East 296.06 feet along the South
line of said tract to the Southeast corner of said tract;
thence North 0° 03' 30" West 500.00 feet along the East line

of said tract; thence leaving said tract boundary and
continuing North 0° 03' 30" West 166.13 feet to the South
line of said Fairhaven Avenue and to a point in said City
boundary; thence West along said City boundary and said
South line of Fairhaven Avenue, 15 feet, more or less, to
an angle point in said City boundary, thence North 60 feet
along said City boundary to the North line of said
Fairhaven Avenue and to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Aha and to
Ward No. 1 in said City, and said annexation is by this Ordinance
effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this
territory, the designation that applies is "Santa Aha City - 1957
and 1958 Annexes".
SECTION 3: ~fhis Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.

Aha at its regular meeting held on

Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 17th day of September, 19~2, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 1st day
of October, 19~2, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
