SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 409
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 18-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 409 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 409, initiated by
WILFRED H. CHARLTON for a change in District classification from the
M-1 District to the R-4 District, and said Co~mmission has recommended
approval of saidAmendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Grant Street
located 244 feet, more or less, Easterly from that point
where the center line of Grant Street intersects the
center line of Standard Avenue; thence Easterly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Grant
Street for a distance of 386 feet, more or less, to the
Southern Pacific Railroad Right of Way; thence Northerly
along the southern Pacific Railroad Right of Way for a
distance of 1207 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center lane of
Grant Street for a distance of 386 feet, more or less;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of
1217 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the R-4 District, and
Sectional District Map 18-5-9 (Exhibit AA 409 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of October, 1962.
