SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 406
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 406 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 406, initiated by
JOHN ROHRS, VERA B. ROHRS and J. EUGENE ROHRS for a change in District
classifications from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 DistrAct,
and said C~m,ission has recommended that said Amendment Application
be denied as requested, but has reco~nended that the property
involved be reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4
and R-lB Districts in accordance with Exhibit AA 406 B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendments and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, state of California, described as:
Parcel 1: Beginning at a point where the center line of
Lincoln Avenue intersects the center line of Seventeenth
Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Lincoln
Avenue for a distance of 565 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 980.5 feet,
more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Lincoln Avenue for a
distance of 565 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along the center line
of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 980.5 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4
District, and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 (Exhibit AA 406 B) is
hereby amended to show said reclassification.

SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 2: Beginning at the Northeast corner of that parcel
of real property hereinabove described as Parcel 1, the
same being 565 feet, more or less, Northerly from the center
line of Seventeenth Street; thence Northerly along the
center line of Lincoln Avenue for a distance of 75 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 980.5 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Lincoln
Avenue for a distance of 75 feet, more or less; thence
Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 980.5 feet,
more or less, the same being the Northerly boundary of
Parcel 1 as described hereinabove, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, and
Sectional District Map 6-5-9 (Exhibit AA 406 B) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of October, 1962.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 17th day of September, 1962, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 1st day
of October, 1962, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
