THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 411 AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 411 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 411, initiated by said
cC~mission for a change in District classification from the R-2
District to the P District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of South
Greenville Street intersects the center line of West
Pomona Street; thence Northeasterly along the center
line of South Greenville Street for a distance of
169.9 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of West
Pomona Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of South Greenville Street for a distance
of 169.9 feet, more or less, to the,center line of West
pomona Street;(~hence Westerly along the center line of
West Pomona Street~for a distance of 150 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the P District, and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 411 A) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
