OF T~RITORY DESIGNATED "NE~RT AND DYe, S.E.
W~EAS, on June 22, 1962, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by
Resolution No. 62-122, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law, and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held
August 6, 1962, which hearing was continued and was regularly held
on said notice and on .mailed notices as required by law; and after
final adjournment of said hearing on protests, it was found and
declared by Resolution No. 62-240 that a majority protest had not
been made.
NOW, ']'.~:~EFORE, THE CITY COUNC17~ OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory,
here~flbelow describe~ was uninhabited at the time Resolution
No. 62-122 was adopted initiating this proeeeding~ was contiguous to
the City of Santa Ana and sh.l~ not be taxed to pay any indebtedness
of the City of Santa Ana existing at the time of this annexation.

Ward No. 2 in said City, and said annexation is by this Ordinance
effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this
territory, the designation that apDlies is "Santa Ana City - 1957
and 1958 Annexes".
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
