GRANTING FRANCHISE TO THE CALIFORNIA GAS
TRANSMISSION COMPANY
WHEREAS, heretofore, on December 18, 1961, the Santa Aha City
Council adopted Ordinance No. NS-555 granting to California Gas
Transmission Company a franchise to construct and operate a gas
transmission pipe line over certain public ways within the City; said
Ordinance provided that said grant was conditioned upon an application
then pending before the California Public Utilities Commission, which
said Application, No. 42931, was dismissed by said Commission on
December 11, 1962.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. NS-555 is hereby repealed,~ and
the franchise and all rights thereunder are hereby declared to be
null and void.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of February, 1963.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 21st day of January, 1963, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 4th day
of February, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adoptedlby said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
