THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 427
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 12-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 427 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application no. 427, initiated by
KATHLEEN O. HOWARD and MARVIN M. ROHRS for a change in District
classification from the R-3HB District to the C-2 District, and said
Commission has recommended denial of said change as requested, but
recommended that the property involved be reclassified from the R-3HB
District to the C-1 District in accordance with Exhibit AA 427 B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Fifteenth
Street intersects the center line of Sycamore Street; thence
Easterly along the center line of Fifteenth Street for a
distance of 134 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Sycamore
Street for a distance of 140 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Fifteenth Street for a distance of 134 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Sycamore Street; thence
Southerly along the center line of Sycamore Street for a
distance of 140 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is here~y reclassified from the R-3HB District to the C-1 District, and
Sectional District Map 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 427 B) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
