OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT
APPLICATION NO. 429 AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 4-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 429 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 429, filed by
SHERWOOD FOREST DEVELOPERS for a change in District classification
from the A-1 District to the 60-R1-7200 District, and said Commission
has recommended approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround-
ing property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the City boundary of the City
of Santa Ana, California, said point being 630.6 feet,
more or less, Easterly from the center line of Tustin
Avenue and 660.4 feet, more or less, Southerly from
the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence Northerly
along said City boundary line for a distance of 635 feet,
more or less, to the South line of Santa Clara Avenue;
thence Easterly along said City boundary and along the
South line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 126
feet, more or less; thence Southerly along said City
boundary for a distance of 25 feet, more or less; thence
Southeasterly along said City boundary for a distance
of 565.27 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along said
City boundary for a distance of 570 feet, more or less;
thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of
690 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the 60-R1-7200
District and Sectional District Map 4-5-9 (Exhibit AA 429 A) is
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April, 1963.

and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
