SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 436
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 436, filed by
CASPER B. SCHEVE for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the C-5, R-2 and R-2B Districts; said Co~mission
recommended denial of said reclassification as requested, but
recommended approval in accordance with ExhibitAA 436 B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held apublic hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendments and that the uses
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, TPIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That ~he real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of
Edinger Avenue located 1,402 feet, more or less,
Westerly from that point where the center line of
Edinger Avenue intersects the center line of Bristol
Street; thence Southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a
distance of 212 feet, more or less; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a
distance of 212 feet, more or less, to the center line
of Edinger Avenue; thence Westerly along the center
line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 436 B.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 2: Beginning at a point located 212 feet, more
or less, Southerly from the center line of Edinger
Avenue and 1,402 feet, more or less, Westerly from the
center line of Bristol Street, the same being the
Southwest corner of Parcel 1 as hereinabove described;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
40 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger
Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more or less; thence
Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 40
feet, more or less, to the Southeasterly corner of
Parcel 1 as hereinabove described; thence westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Edinger Avenue, said line also being the Southerly
boundary line of Parcel 1 hereinabove described, for a
distance of 81 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,

is hereby reclassified frGm the R-1 District to the R-2B District,
and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with ExhibitAA 436 B.
SECTION 3: That real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 3: Beginning at a point located 252 feet,more
or less, Southerly from the center line of Edinger
Avenue and 1,402 feet, more or less, Westerly from the
center line of Bristol Street; said point being the
Southwest corner of Parcel 2 as hereinabove described;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
248 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger
Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more or less; thence
Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 248
feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of
Parcel 2 hereinabove described; thence Westerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Edinger Avenue, said line also being the Southerly
boundary of Parcel 2 hereinabove described, for a
distance of 81 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to sho~said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 436 B.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days fr0~
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of June, 1963.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 20th day of May, 1963, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd
day of June, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
