SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO PREZONE AND ESTABLISH
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 434 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
17-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 434 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mmission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 434 filed by
H. G. WILSON to prezone to the C-2 District certain land not as yet
annexed to the City of Santa Ana and presently situated in the
County of Orange A-1 District, and said Commission has recommended
Denial of saidAmendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That real property in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of East First
Street located 1,552.5 feet, more or less, Westerly
fro~ that point where the center lane of East First
Street intersects the center line of Tustin Avenue;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance
of 1,018.1 feet, more or less, to the Santa Ana
Freeway Right of Way; thence Southeasterly along the
Santa Aha Freeway Right of Way for a distance of
365 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin
Avenue for a distance of 1,135 feet, more or less, to
the center line of East First Street; thence Westerly
along the center line of East First Street for a
distance of 338 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,
and presently classified as being in the County of Orange A-1 District,
is hereby prezoned to the City of Santa Aha C-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 17-5-9 (Exhibit AA 434 A) is hereby amended
to show the establishment of this classification and prezoning. Said
prezoning and classification shall become effective whensoever in
the future any of the hereinabove described property is annexed to
the City of Santa Aha.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of June, 1963.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 20th day of May, 1963, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd
day of June, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
