SANTA ANAMUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 443 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
1-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 443 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 443, initiated by
said Planning Commission for a change in District classification
from the R-2 District to the R-2B District, and said Con,mission has
recommended approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the follo~ng amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surroun~
ing territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the city of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Jefferson
Place intersects the center line of Eighteenth Street;
thence Southerly along the center line of Jefferson Place
for a distance of 157.5 feet, more or less, to that point
where said center line intersects the center line of an
alley; thence Easterly along the center line of said alley
for a distance of 360 feet, more or less; thence Northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Jefferson Place for a distance of 157.5 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Eighteenth Street; thence Westerly
along the center line of Eighteenth Street for a distance
of 360 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the R-2B District,
and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 443 A.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
frc~a and after the date of its adoption.

1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by said
