SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 449 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
9-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 449 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 449, filed
by TUSTIN PROPERTIES for a change in District classification from
the R-1 District to the C-1 District, and at said hearing the
applicant requested the change be from the R-1 District to the CD
District; said Commission has recommended approval of said
reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City Of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center lane of Tustin Avenue
located 745.8 feet, more or less, Southerly from that
point where the center line of Seventeenth Street intersects
the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence Southerly along the
center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 1458.0 feet,
more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 656.3 feet, more or less, to the Newport Freeway
right of Way; thence Northeasterly along the Newport Freeway
right of way for a distance of 753.8 feet, more or less;
thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 128.4
feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a
distance of 742.5 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along
a lane approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 587.1 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the
CD District, and Sectional District Map 9-5-9 is hereby amended to
show said reclassification An accordance with E~hibit AA 449 B.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days frc~
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1963.
