SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 437 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
14-5-10 (E~IBIT AA 437 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning C~L,~ission has given notice of and duly
held public hearings on Amendment Application No. 437, filed by
MYRTLE BROOKS for a change in district classification from the R-1
District to the C-2 District; said Commission has recommended denial
of said change as requested, but recommended the change from the
R-1 District to the C-5 District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden
Avenue intersects the center line of Sullivan Street;
thence northerly along the center line of Sullivan Street
for a distance of 233.7 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
McFadden Avenue for a distance of 351 feet, more or less;
thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Sullivan Street for a distance of 233.7 feet,
more or less, to the center line of McFadden Avenue; thence
Westerly along the center line of McFadden Avenue for a
distance of 351 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 14-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 437 B.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1963.
