SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 452 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 452 C)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 452, filed by
EDYTHE M. CARSON for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the C-1 and R-4 Districts, and said co~mission
recommended the change from the R-1 District to the CD District
rather than the requested C-1 District and made no recommendation
on the requested R-4 District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendmen~ and that the
use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of
Tustin Avenue located 645 feet, more or less, southerly
from that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue
intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of
330 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin
Avenue for a distance of 645 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of
330 feet, more or less, to the center line of Tustin
Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of
Tustin Avenue for a distance of 642.3 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CD District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 452 C.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
P~rcel 2: Beginning at a point located 330 feet, more or
less, westerly from the center line of Tustin Avenue and
645 feet, more or less, southerly from the center line
of Seventeenth Street, said point also being the north-
west corner of Parcel 1,hereinabove described; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of
1127.3 feet, more or less, to the center line of an
unnamed street; thence southerly along the center line
of said unnamed street for a distance of 645 feet, more
or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 1127.3 feet, more or less, to the southwest
corner of Parcel 1,hereinabove described; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Tustin Avenue, the same being the westerly
boundary of Parcel 1,hereinabove described, for a distance
of 645 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 452 C.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1963.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 15th day of July, 1963, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August,
1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to wit:
