SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 456 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 456 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~u~ission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 456, filed by
ALBAN HOLTZ for a change in District classification from the R-2
District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 456 B,
providing for R-2B (parking only) District on the north 35 feet of
the subject property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendments and that the use
under the new classifications will not he detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Seventeenth
Street intersects the center line of Poinsettia Street;
thence northerly along the center line of Poinsettia Street
for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 197.5 feet, more or
less, to the center line of an alley; thence southerly
along the center line of said alley for a distance of 29.5
feet, more or less, to the Santa Ana Freeway right of way;
thence easterly along the Santa Ana Freeway right of way
for a distance of 7.5 feet, more or less, to the west
property line of said property; thence southeasterly along
the Santa Ana Freeway right of way for a distance of 118.3
feet, more or less, to the south property line of said
property; thence southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Poinsettia Street for a
distance of 40 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Seventeenth Street; thence easterly along the center line
of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 110 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 456 B.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 2:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Poinsettia Street
located 150 feet, more or less, northerly from that point
where the center line of Poinsettia Street intersects the
center line of Seventeenth Street, the same being the
northeast corner of Parcel 1 hereinabove described; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 197.5 feet,
more or less, said line being also the northerly boundary
of Parcel 1 hereinabove described, to the center line of an
alley; thence northerly along the center line of said alley
for a distance of 35 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 197.5 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Poinsettia Street; thence
southerly along the center line of Poinsettia Street for a
distance of 35 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the R-2B District,
and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 456 B.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of September, 1963.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 19th day of August, 1963, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day
of September, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
