SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMRNDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 460 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
11-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 460 C)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held public hearings on Amendment Application NO. 460, filed by
F. GERALD ENGLISH for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the R-4 District, and said Cc~mission has recommended
approval of said reclassification in accordance with ExhibitAA 460 C;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of King Street,
located 235 feet, more or less, measured southerly and
at right angles to the center line of Seventeenth Street;
thence southwesterly along the center line of King Street
for a distance of60~6 feet, more or less; thence westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 683.9 feet, more or
less, to the easterly boundary of the Santa Aha River;
thence northeasterly along the easterly boundary of the
Santa Ana River for a distance of6~7,6 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 583.4
feet, more or less, to the center line of King Street and
the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District,
and Sectional District Map 11-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 460 C.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSF~D AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of November, 1963.

Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 7th day of October, 1963, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of
November, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
