SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 472 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
1-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 472 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 472, filed by
R. PERRY DAVIS, for a change in District classification from the
R-3 and P Districts to the R-3B and P B Districts, and said Planning
commission has recommended approval of said reclassifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Broadway
intersects the center line of Eighteenth Street; thence
easterly along the center line of Eighteenth Street for a
distance of 190 feet, more or less; thence southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Broadway for a distance of 157.5 feet, more or less, to
the center line of an alley; thence westerly along the
center line of said alley for a distance of 190 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Broadway; thence
northerly along the center line of Broadway for a distance
of 157.5 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified fro~ the P District to the P B District, and
Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclas-
sification in accordance with Exhibit AA 472 A.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point on the center line of Eighteenth
Street located 190 feet, more or less, ~asterly from that
point where the center line of Eighteenth Street intersects
the center line of Broadway; thence easterly along the
center line of Eighteenth Street for a distance of 246 feet,
more or less, to the center line of an alley; thence
southerly along the center line of said alley for a distance
of 157.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of an east-
west alley; thence westerly along the center line of said
east-west alley for a distance of 246 feet, more or less, to
the southeast corner of that parcel of land described
hereinabove; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Broadway for a distance of
157.5 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the R-3B District,
and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 472 A.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of November, 1963.

I, DORIS M. BROWN, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of
the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 4th day of Nove~ber, 1963, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the
18th day of November, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed
and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
