HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-697ORDINANCE NS-697 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SOUTH SANTA ANA ANNEX NO. 6" WHEREAS, on November 4th, 1963, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by Resolution 63-177, which said Resolution superseded Resolution 63-152 and was regularly published as required by law giving notice of a protest hearing to be held December 16th, 1963, which hearing was regularly held; after final adjournment of said hearing on protests it was found and declared by Resolution 63-198 that a majority protest had not been made. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory hereinbelow described was uninhabited at the time Resolution 63-177 was adopted initiating this proceeding; was contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
