SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 473 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
28-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 473 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 473, filed by
L. TREVOR GRIMM for a change in District classification from the
M-1 District to the M-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point on the boundary line of the City
of Santa Ana where the center line of Talbert Avenue
intersects the center line of Newhope Street; thence
Northerly along the center line of Newhope Street for a
distance of 646.6 feet, more or less, to the East bank
of the Santa Ana River; thence Southwesterly along the
East bank of the Santa Ana River, the same being the
boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, for a distance
of 776 feet, more or less, to the center line of Talbert
Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line of Talbert
Avenue, the same being the boundary line of the City of
Santa Ana, for a distance of 429 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the M-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 28-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 473 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
