SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 481
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 481 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 481, filed
by CASE SWAYNE CO., INC. for a change in District classification
from the R-2 District to the M-1 District and said CoK~ission has
recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with
~xhtbit AA 481 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Mabury
Street intersects the center line of Palm Street; thence
northerly along the center line of Mabury Street for a
distance of 231.5 feet, more or less, to that point where
the center line of Mabury Street intersects the center
line of an alley; thence westerly along the center line of
said alley for a distance of 675 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Mabury Street for a distance of 231.5 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Palm Street; thence easterly
along the center line of Palm Street for a distance of 675
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the M-1 District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 481 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of January, 1964.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 16th day of December, 1963, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 6th day
of January, 1964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
