INTERIM ZONING ORDINANCE NS-667 PROVIDING
FOR C-5 USES IN THE CD DISTRICT
WHEREAS, heretofore the uses pezmitted in the CD (Civic
Development) District were enlarged by an interim amendment to
permit all uses permitted in the C-5 District, said interim
amendment to remain in effect for a period of six months; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Ccmmnission and the Planning staff
have not yet c~pleted their study on the advisability of such
enlargement and the City Council has determined that the interim
period should be extended for a further period of six months to
provide a maximum period of one year for the completion of said
study.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 9230.162 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code is hereby amended to continue the effect of Ordinance NS-667
which added thereto a new subparagraph (d) to read as follows:
(d) Uses permitted in the C-5 District.
and hereby provides that said Section shall continue asamended by
the addition of said subparagraph (d).
SECTION 2: That the effect of this Ordinance is declared
to be to continue Section 9230.162 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code
in effect as containing a new subparagraph (d) fr~n the 1st day of
January , 1964, to and including the 30th day of June, 1964, as an
interim provision, and that upon the 1st day of July, 1964, the
addition of said subparagraph (d) shall automatically terminate and
not thereafter operate as a portion of said Section.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of December, 1963.

sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 16th day
of December, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
