SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION 482
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 1-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 482 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 482, filed by GORDON
B. VAN ROEKEL for a change in District classification frc~ the R-3
District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County Of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the south line of Arnett Drive,
said point being located approximately 228.5 feet, more
or less, northwesterly from that point where the center
line of Main Street intersects the south line of Arnett
Drive; thence southwesterly fora distance of 344.5 feet,
more or less, to the Santa Aha Freeway right of way; thence
northwesterly along the Santa Aha Freeway right of way for
a distance of 457.5 feet, more or less, to the south line
of Arnett Drive; thence easterly along the south line of
Arnett Drive for a distance of 284.8 feet, more or less;
thence southeasterly continuing along the south line of
Arnett Drive for a distance of 312.9 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with ExhibitAA 482 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTF2) by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day 1964.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 20th day of January, 1964, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of
February, 1964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
